About us
How does one impart quality? How might we deliver quality to each and every
person? What is needed most urgently? These and other important questions
are constantly in our mind as Anukulan network continues its day to day
work. The annual report gives you a glimpse of our aspirations for India
and work we are doing. Although it’s just a start but with our endeavor we
aim to achieve our goals. We also aim at uplifting girl child in India
through education ,employment and proper counseling /guidance to make her
independent.
Journey of Anukulan started in November 2015 with a first batch of 15-20
students from the slums of Andrews Ganj in South Delhi. To initiate the project, the team personally visited the slums and educated the parents of children (age group 5 to 15 ) to make them aware of the mission and vision of Anukulan. They encouraged them to get their children registered to Anukulan for free coaching classes. Anukulan got support from the community in-charge and got permission to start taking classes in the Local Gurudwara in the slum. Slowly and gradually the children started coming regularly to Anukulan at the Gurudwara.. Classes are conducted to support these children in their regular school studies and help them to do their homework and give them general knowledge too.Inititally our activities which started with one slum have been spread to Delhi and NCR with maximum children /people being benefitted ..Till date we are able to benefit approx 2,00,000 underprivileged with motto of our NGO
